Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) is a coniferous tree of variable size (up to 30 m tall) depending on the type of soil and climate. It is particularly common in the mountains. Scots pines are found throughout all of Europe and northern Asia. Pine seed cones provide products that have a soothing effect on the respiratory tract.

Honey is a complex substance made up of more than 180 elements. It is mainly composed of sugars, the most important being fructose (38%) and glucose (31%), two simple sugars that require no digestion before absorption and are easily and directly assimilated by the body.
In addition, there is a wide variety of minor components, including phenolic acids and flavonoids, glucose oxidase and catalase enzymes, ascorbic acid, carotenoids, organic acids, amino acids, proteins and α-tocopherol and more than 30 mineral elements (calcium, sodium, magnesium, potassium, copper, manganese, chlorine etc.).

Common mallow (Malva sylvestris L.) is a beautiful perennial plant whose large flowers have three layers: an epicalyx with three separate bracts, a calyx with five sepals, and a corolla with five pinkish-purple heart-shaped petals. The leaves and flowers of common mallow are emollient. With its calming and soothing properties, common mallow helps provide relief to sensitive throats.

[ingredients]

Propolis is known for being rich in flavonoids (a family of polyphenols). The anti-bacterial property of propolis helps keep the hive healthy. As such, propolis is known as the hive's “natural shield.”

Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla L.), or German chamomile, is a small annual that is 20 to 50 cm tall. It is commonly found along paths and in wild areas throughout all of Europe. It is found in Europe, Asia, and North Africa. The entire plant, particularly the flowers, gives off a strong aroma when crushed and it has soothing properties.

Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus Labill.) is a large tree from Australia. In Europe, the eucalyptus tree grows up to 35 m tall. It will grow in most warm, dry regions of the globe. After its discovery by Europeans, eucalyptus was quickly planted in subtropical regions of Asia and in the Mediterranean basin. The Aborigines used eucalyptus leaves for their soothing effects on the throat.

Thyme (Thymus vulgaris L.) is a small shrub that grows no taller than about 30 cm. Thyme comes from the Mediterranean basin and is common in dry, rocky areas of southern France. It is known to help strengthen the immune system.
