Lutein is one of three carotenoids, pigments found in very high concentration in the retina of the eye, more specifically in the macula. The yellow color of the macula is attributable to the presence of lutein, zeaxanthin and meso-zeaxanthin.These carotenoids are not synthesized by humans, and must therefore be supplied by the diet.

Arkolutéine contains bilberry and marigold which provide lutein. Bilberry helps maintain ocular acuity and visual comfort.

Dosage

Oral use. For adults only.

  • Take 2 capsules per day at mealtimes with a large glass of water.
