ACTIVOX® Nasal Spray is an isotonic aqueous solution made mainly from natural seawater from the Atlantic Ocean (Ile de Bréhat), with added dexpanthenol, to be sprayed into the nose.

ACTIVOX® Nasal Spray is a highly tolerated solution, free from colorants, fragrances and preservatives.

ACTIVOX® Nasal Spray is used to moisturize, cleanse, care for and protect damaged nasal mucosa. It helps to :

  • Moisturize irritated nasal mucosa, especially in cases of rhinitis or hay fever.
  • Moisturize nasal mucous membranes in dry air in heated or air-conditioned rooms, or in airplanes.
  • Cleanse irritated noses in the event of increased air pollution, e.g. from exhaust fumes, smoke, pollen or dust.
  • Remove nasal crusts.

As needed, use several times a day until symptoms disappear.

For adults and children aged 2 and over.
Suitable for pregnant or breast-feeding women.
Children aged 2 and over and adults: 1 to 2 sprays per nostril, several times a day.

1 spray corresponds to approx. 0.14 ml of solution.

1. Remove protective cap.

 

2. Tilt head slightly forward. Close one nostril with your finger. Hold bottle upright. Insert the spray head with its orifice into the open nostril, inhale through the nose and at the same time press firmly on the bottom of the bottle with your thumb. Spray once or twice. Repeat in the other nostril.

3. For hygienic reasons, carefully wipe off the tip after use and cover it with the protective cap.

Contraindications 

This product is contraindicated :

  • in children under 2 years of age. 
  • in case of intolerance to one or more constituents of the product 

Precautions for use

Keep out of reach of children.

ACTIVOX® Nasal Spray is very well tolerated and non-addictive. There are no special precautions to be taken when using ACTIVOX® Nasal Spray.

However, if you are hypersensitive to any of the product's ingredients, use of the nasal spray is not recommended.  You should also seek medical advice before use.  No risks have been observed during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

1ml isotonic solution contains 20 mg dexpanthenol, 202 mg seawater, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, highly purified water.

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO MOISTURIZE AND CLEANSE THE NOSE?

The nose acts as a filter for the air we breathe, protecting the body from external aggressions. Infections caused by bacteria or viruses, unfavorable weather or hot air, the side effects of medication or high levels of dust in the air often reduce the natural functioning of the sensitive nasal mucosa, drying it out and damaging it. The elderly also often suffer from a loss of moisture from the nasal mucosa. Maintaining a healthy, constantly moistened nasal mucosa enables it to act as a real defensive barrier.  That's why it's important to use a nasal spray based on seawater and dexpanthenol, which moisturizes the nasal mucosa over the long term, gently caring for it and protecting it from drying out. It also prevents the formation of scabs, without interfering with the natural functioning of the nasal mucosa. 

HOW DOES ACTIVOX® Spray Nasal work?

ACTIVOX® Spray Nasal is an isotonic aqueous solution based on natural seawater from the Atlantic Ocean (Ile de Bréhat) and dexpanthenol. Natural seawater gently cleanses and moisturizes dry, blocked noses. Dexpanthenol, with its moisturizing properties, covers the nasal mucosa with a fine film, prolonging and intensifying the effect of seawater and providing additional protection and care. 

HOW DO I USE ACTIVOX® Nasal Spray for the first time? 

Before using for the first time, remove the protective cap to activate the spray mechanism several times until the first spray is obtained. The pump is then immediately ready for use for all subsequent applications. 

HOW LONG DOES ACTIVOX® Nasal Spray LAST?

ACTIVOX® Nasal Spray can be used over an extended period, until symptoms have disappeared. If symptoms persist or reappear, consult a physician. If you have any further questions on the use of this product, please contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Most of the packaging is recyclable; a full analysis of the packaging's environmental qualities and characteristics is currently being finalized.
