Usage tips

Composition
Milk thistle (Silybum marianum)
Milk thistle leaves have white mottling. This mottling is associated with a touching legend dating back to the Middle Ages: The Virgin Mary, desperate to conceal her baby Jesus from the soldiers of King Herod, hid him under the leaves of a milk thistle. A few drops of milk from her breast fell onto the leaves, and they have kept their trace ever since.
